Extracorporeal tests indicate that alginate wound dressing can absorb the quantity of exudate 15-20 times of its own weight, maximum use for 7 days.

2.Assisting to control mild bleeding

Calcium alginate (from seaweed extraction)assists to control the surface of a wound wild bleeding.

3.Offering perfect healing environment

After alginate wound dressing touching the wounded exudate, its alginate fiber can transform into a gel type material covering the surface of the wound thereafter to create a good moist healing environment, preventing the scab and accelerating the wound healing. Meanwhile, not adversely impacting wound contraction and oxygen exchange.

Alginate wound dressing can be applied for full-thickness or part cortex damage wound with medium to large amount of exudation. For example, burns for skin area, diabetic ulcer, venous leg ulcer, pressure sore, carcinelcosis and so on.
